August 19, 1952 — October 19, 2013

Karen Margaret Currier, age 61 of Danville, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, October 19, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 19, 1952 in Haverhill, Ma the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Rhodes) Futch.

Her brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews and in-laws who will miss her every day, also survive her.

Karen attended Haverhill High School before she married her true love, Robert Currier. It was love at first sight for Karen and Bob when she met him at 14 years old. They were married on December 22, 1968 and were still in love 47 years later. Karen and Bob's journey took root in MA, CO, FL and NH where they finally settled in Danville, NH for the past 8 years.

Faith, family and friends were Karen's passions. She was strong, patient, brave, hard working, compassionate and loving. She continuously put others first and was always supportive and proud of her daughters. She loved the Patriots and enjoyed Sunday dinners watching "and yelling" at the game with family. Karen had an infectious laugh, warming smile and loved to dance. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially her walks with her husband, and loved the fall weather. She was also an active parishioner of St. Anne's Church in Hampstead, NH. She was grateful and blessed by the church's hope, comfort and help during times of need. Karen was the strength and glue of her family; she will be remembered and honored daily by her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
