Juvencia Carrera

Juvencia Carrera, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, in San Bernardino. Born on January 25, 1929, in Los Angeles, Juvencia lived a life filled with love and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

As the proud maiden name of Tolano suggests, she carried a spirit of warmth and resilience that emanated throughout her life. Juvencia dedicated herself to her family and nurtured the next generations with a heart full of passion and kindness. She is survived by her seven children: Hector, Emma, Rick, Julie, Sylvia, Diane, and Eddie, whose lives she influenced profoundly through her unwavering support and guidance. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the lessons she imparted.

While she reveled in the joy of family gatherings, it is with a heavy heart that we remember her sister, Maria Jones, who has survived her in death. The bond they shared was as strong as the roots of an ancient tree, and together they weathered life's storms with grace and fortitude.

Juvencia's life will be celebrated during a touching funeral service on September 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church of Our Heritage, located at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA.

Though she has departed from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved. Juvencia Carrera will be forever remembered as a beacon of light, whose love transcends time and space, continuing to inspire her family to cherish one another and honor the bonds that unite them.
