June M. (LeRiche) Wizst, 68, a resident of Haverhill since 1997, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

Born, raised and educated in Lowell, daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Brun) LeRiche, she graduated Lowell High School. She was last employed for ten years as Strategic Sourcing Manager at Axcelis Technologies of Beverly and previously worked at the Westin Hotel in Waltham as the Sales and Function Manager. She also formerly worked at Hanscom Airforce Base and in her younger years, the Waltham Police Department.

A former longtime resident of Waltham, Massachusetts, Mrs. Wizst was a communicant of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish at Holy Angels Church in Plaistow, and was a member of the Tattersall Farm Day Committee.

A devoted grandmother, Mrs. Wizst enjoyed cooking and gardening, travel, trips to the beach for her morning walks, and her special sisters weekends. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Survivors include her husband Hugh "Bud" Wizst, a son and daughter-in-law, Alexander M. and Lindsay Scalisi of Mill Valley, CA, two daughters, Jill M. Scalisi of Scarsdale,NY and Tina M. (Scalisi) Bonnell of Lexington, MA, three stepsons, Darrin H. Wizst and his wife Jennifer of Westford, MA, Brian R. Wizst and his wife Sheila of Haverhill and Kevin W. Wizst of Santa Clara, CA, a brother David LeRiche of Quincy, four sisters, Dorothy Keville of Boston, Lynn Wojas of Daytona Beach,FL, Mary LeRiche of Salem, NH and Ginny Carson of Methuen, nine grandchildren, Alexander Foley, Tommy Foley, Kyle Wizst, Sarah Wizst, Allison Wizst, Jack Scalisi, Dylan Bonnell, Quinn Bonnell and Anastasia Scalisi, and several nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow, NH. Burial will follow in Atkinson Cemetery. Donations in her name may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA or to Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill,MA.
