Julieta Vergara Solomon

October 8, 1949 — October 12, 2024

Julieta Vergara Solomon, affectionately known as "Julie," was born on October 8, 1949, in Manila, Philippines. She embarked on a remarkable journey that spanned decades, filled with dedication to her profession and love for her family. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from San Juan de Dios in Manila, she devoted her career to the healthcare field. She immigrated initially to Kentucky, USA serving as a Registered Nurse. Eventually, Julie had an opportunity to join the rest of the family in Los Angeles California where she started working  at Pioneer Medical Center then at Anaheim Memorial Medical Center where she spent most of her career years. Her unwavering commitment to her patients and her exemplary work ethic made her the best preceptor and earned her the recognition of Employee of the Month during her tenure. Julie retired in 2007, leaving a legacy of caring and compassion that will be remembered by her colleagues and the countless lives she touched.

Throughout her life, Julie was known for her meticulous and loving nature. She cherished time spent with her family, often treating them to lunch on weekends, a testament to her generous spirit. Her nurturing personality extended beyond immediate family as she adored caring for her nieces, nephews, and grand kids. She found joy in the roles of caregiver and mentor, creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

An avid traveler, Julie enjoyed exploring the world and had a special fondness for tropical beaches and the breathtaking sights of Europe. Her zest for life was reflected in her love for travels, her favorite color yellow, and the simple pleasures of enjoying a glass of wine or having a porterhouse steak.

On October 12, 2024, Julie passed away in California, leaving behind a loving brother, Avelino V. Solomon Jr., and sister, Flora S. Bulos, along with nieces, nephews, and grand kids who will forever hold her memory dear. She is reunited in spirit with her late father, Avelino Solomon Sr., mother, Juliana V. Solomon, and beloved sister, Celia V. Solomon.
