Julie Benavides Topino

Julie Benavides Topino, 65, born on July 1, 1953, in Manila, Philippines, passed away April 7, 2019. She resided in Cypress, California at the time of her passing. She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines with a degree in Medical Technology and migrated to the United States in 1976. She worked for Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Medical Group as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist before retiring in 2018 to spend more time with her family and volunteer work in the Church. Julie was dearly loved by her husband, Edgar, children, Samantha and Mark and grandchildren, Autumn, Basil, Harrison and Abigail and brothers and sisters. Vigil service will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, California on April 14 at 10:00 AM-9:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Cypress, California on April 15 at 10:30 AM and interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, California.
