Julie Friel, 78, born on September 19, 1946, in Chicago, IL, passed away February 13, 2025. She resided in Placentia, CA at the time of her passing. Julie grew up in Anaheim, CA and moved to Blythe, CA where she taught junior high school for 27 years. In 1995 she was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which she suffered a brain injury and left side paresis. She resided in an assisted living facility for her remaining 30 years. In Julie's words, "I lived for Christ". Julie is survived by her sister, Jan Friel. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.
