Julia B. Mikita passed away peacefully in he sleep on September 16, 2015. She is survived by her children, John and Maureen Mikita. She also has five grandchildren. Julia met her husband John in the Russian Orthodox church in the early '60s. They wed on November 25, 1962. In her early years she enjoyed the culinary arts, and sewing for her family and friends. Julia had many jobs. During the second world war she contributed to the war effort as a riveter in Michigan. She had a long full life for 94 years. She will be deeply missed.
