Judith "Judy" Murray

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Judith Wittrock Murray, 81, born on May 28, 1943, in Beaver Falls, PA, on April 06, 2025. She left this word peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and friends during her final days. While we mourn her loss deeply, we are forever grateful for the time we had with her and for the kindness and grace she shared with all who knew her.

In February, we received the heart-breaking news that our mother's breast cancer had metastasized to her bones. While we held on to hope that treatment might offer a chance, we knew the path ahead would be a difficult one. As time passed, her body and mind grew tired as her kidneys started to fail and her blood pressure started to drop dramatically. We are beyond thankful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers that we have received. It has been an incredible comfort to our family during this challenging time.

In accordance with our mom's wishes there will not be a formal gravesite service. Instead, we will be celebrating her life on September 21, 2025, 11:30am to 3:30pm where we will gather to honor her memory with stories, laughter and love. Two special burials will take place so that she may rest alongside both of her husbands - on May 31st at 2:30pm beside our father, and on July 27th at 10:30am at sea, where Bob was laid to rest.
