Judith Ann Forbes

With heavy hearts, the family of Judith A. Forbes announces her passing. Known lovingly as “Judi”, she was born on October 30th, 1945 in Macintosh, South Dakota. Adopted by James Albert Buckle and Bernice Marie (Neumiller) Buckle, the family later moved to Southern California where Judi grew up and chose to raise her children. Judi passed away on March 20th, 2025 at the age of 79 in Long Beach, California.

Judi was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She is survived by her children, Michelle Johnson (Christopher), Daniel Lanstra (Lynette) her grandchildren, Chelsea, CJ, Alexis and Somerlyn and her spouse, Gary Wesolowski.

Judi lived a blessed, happy and full life where she was deeply loved. Known for her kindness, generosity and resiliency, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A Graveside Service will be held on April 12th, 2025 at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA 90630 at 2:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion, 5938 Parkcrest St, Long Beach, CA 90808.
