Judith Faye Danielsen

Judith Faye Danielsen, 80, born on July 4, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away August 21, 2015. She resided in Santa Clarita, California, at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California. Judy Danielsen was always happy, positive, generous, upbeat, and encouraging. Judy is survived by her sons Craig and Jerry (Angela), grandson Sean, and life-companion Jay Gray. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Donald. Judy was born in Milwaukee July 4, 1935, to Gerald and Rose Coulson, and grew up in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from Hollywood High School in 1953. After Don's service in the Korean War, they married in 1954 and lived in Iowa and suburban Los Angeles. They moved to Studio City in 1960 then Saugus, where her sons attended Hart High School. She enjoyed traveling the United States and Europe, camping, boating and visiting with family. In recent years she found love with Jay Gray and enjoyed singing in the Friendly Valley Methodist Church Choir, square dancing, talent shows, attending local shows and events such as Canyon Theater Guild, watching her son and grandson perform music, traveling, enjoying the Senior Center and church events, and visiting with family. She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at Friendly Valley Community Methodist Church on Saturday, September 5th at 2:00 pm.
