Juanito "Johnny" Bautista, born on May 27, 1936, in Malabon, Philippines, passed away on April 5, 2025, in La Mirada, California. He leaves behind a cherished legacy shaped by his unwavering dedication to family, profession, and passion for life.
Juanito devoted over 50 years of his professional life to tax preparation, establishing himself as a respected Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines. In addition to his significant contributions in his homeland, he spent almost 30 years working at Pacific Bell, where his commitment and expertise were greatly valued. His career was marked by hard work, a quiet demeanor, and a subtle sense of humor that made him a beloved colleague and mentor.
An alumnus of the University of the East in Manila, Juanito earned his degree in Accounting, which laid the foundation for a fruitful career. His professional journey not only highlighted his exceptional skills but also his passion for helping others navigate the complexities of finance.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Juanito was a devoted family man. He shared a deep and loving bond with his wife, Nelia Bautista. Together, they created countless memories, especially through their love of travel, exploring various countries and embracing new cultures. This spirit of adventure was a testament to his zest for life and the joy he found in his experiences.
Juanito is survived by his loving wife, Nelia Bautista, and his two children, Laarni Diamse and Chris Bautista, who will remember him for his steadfast love, guidance, and the humor that colored their family life.
