Juan Netzahualcoyotl Suarez Hernandez passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on November 27, 1965, in Tijuana, Mexico, Juan was the third of six children born to Andres and Maria Leticia Suarez.

Growing up in Tijuana, Juan developed a deep love for sports, everything from boxing to the game of chess. His passion for athletics followed him throughout his life. At the age of 12, he moved to California, where he attended Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra and played water polo. Juan later attended Arizona State University, where he studied electronics engineering. He then partnered with a group of colleagues to found an engineering firm.

He dedicated more than two decades of his career to the public safety industry, specializing in photo enforcement. Over the years, he served in many roles, from Maintenance Manager to Solution Architect and lastly Product Manager, earning the respect of his colleagues for his unwavering dedication, leadership, and exceptional technical skill.

Juan was an avid sports fan who loved watching football and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, but his greatest sports passion was always Dodger baseball.

In 1992, Juan became a proud father with the birth of his first son, Johnny. In 1997, he met the love of his life, Ruby, and welcomed her son Joshua into his heart and life. Together, they built a beautiful family—welcoming their son Andrew in 1999, marrying in October 2004, and completing their family with the birth of Daniel in August 2005.

Juan was preceded in death by his father, Andres. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby; his sons Johnny, Joshua (Brittany), Andrew, and Daniel; and his cherished grandchildren, Kamea and Kohana. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Leticia; his siblings, Martin, Leticia, Gloria (Rick), Gerardo (Martha), and Joaquin (Nicole); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn – Covina Hills in Covina, California. A viewing will take place on Monday, November 10th at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m., followed by burial and a reception. Flowers are welcome and appreciated as a tribute to Juan’s memory.

Juan will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the love he had for his family above all else.
