Juan Carlos Ordonez

March 30, 1989 — December 29, 2023

To my amazing Brother:

Deep in my sorrow, I miss your embrace

Your presence spiritually forever filling all the space.

Indescribable is the void you left behind

Your memory forever treasured shall bind.

Juan Carlos Ordonez, 34, born on March 30, 1989 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He passed away December 29, 2023. He resided in Van Nuys and Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing. He was raised in the San Fernando Valley. He was the youngest of two siblings and loved and adored his mother and eldest sister. He was always their protector. As a child, his mother instilled in him to always treat others with respect and live life to the fullest and the fear of God. They had a special mother-son bond like no other.

He was the most popular introverted person and never liked the spotlight. He loved kids - he was a kid at heart himself. He had a calm demeanor which made those around feel at peace and was full of charisma. He was truly a gentleman and thought equality was important regardless of anyone’s background. Love was love to him.

Juan Carlos was an avid photographer and loved to travel. He loved to make impromptu road trips and camp at many National Parks. One of his favorites places: Yosemite National Park. He captured some of the most beautiful pictures during his short life. He also loved animals especially his 14 year old Chihuahua, Zero. In addition to photography and traveling - he had an attraction and was keened to the unknown - the universe and its infinite wonders. His sister and him shared the same passion and often would share articles, photos and what life would be like in other planets.

His mother and sister are grateful for all the memorable and special moments shared with him and will never be forgotten. As we try to pick up our broken-hearted pieces, we know this is not a good-bye but see you later. Juan Carlos time on this earth will not be forgotten nor taken for granted and the love will continue to be boundlessly.

A special tribute to commemorate his life and legacy will be created under his name in the future. To make his wishes come true, Juan Carlos ashes will be scattered in Yosemite National Park. If you ever want to feel his presence, he will be happily running free in this beautiful park.

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
