Juan-Edgar (John) Rapacon Gapuzan, 45, was born on May 15, 1970, in Laoag City, Illocos Norte, Philippines. John moved to the US with his family in 1985. After graduating high school John joined the Marine Corps and served in the first Gulf War. For the past 13 years John, also known as "Gap" served as a Customs and Border Protection Officer in Long Beach. John resided in Ontario surrounded by his family and friends. He passed away April 20, 2016.

A memorial service and burial is scheduled for Saturday May 7, 2016 at 2:30pm in the church at Forest Lawn Covina Hills.

John's family will host a reception at his brothers home following the services. The address is 14066 Hastings Ranch Lane, Rancho Cucamonga 91739.
