Juan Avalos, affectionately known as Juanito, was born on September 17, 1989, in Los Angeles and left us unexpectedly on August 11, 2025, in Rialto, California. Anyone who knew him felt his love and kindness.
Juan was one of those people who made hard work look effortless. He spent his days at a car wash, where he didn’t just do his job he took immense pride in it. His dedication to his work earned him the respect and friendship of many around him, creating bonds that were as shiny as the cars he cleaned.
He graduated from Blair High School after attending Webster Elementary and Wilson Middle School, and later, he took a proud step in furthering his education at Santiago Canyon College in Wastewater Treatment.
Juan had a personality that could light up any room. He was charismatic, funny, generous, and above all, loving. His family meant the world to him. There wasn’t anything Juan wouldn’t do for his family or friends in need. To his cherished nephews and nieces, Bryan, Jr., Austin, Azaiah, and Avery, he was more than just an uncle; he was their buddy, bringing fun, laughter, and spoiling them with treats
Some of the best memories with Juan are ones filled with laughter, like those fun-filled days at Knott's Berry Farm and water parks, where he enjoyed riding the rides, splashing around, and creating unforgettable moments-Cruz. I’ll never forget Juanito for the way he made us laugh. His stories brought us so much joy, and his laughter was contagious-Maria.
Although his time with us was cut short, Juan's warm spirit, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends will never be forgotten. He lived generously, leaving behind lasting memories and connections wherever he went.
For those who wish to pay their respects, his funeral services will be held on August 27, 2025, at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church of our Heritage in Covina, CA, starting at 5 PM. There will be another service on August 28, at the same location, beginning at 9:30 AM. Both days will be a time to remember and celebrate the amazing person that Juan was.
So here’s to Juanito, thank you for the laughter, the love, and the memories which will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew you.
