Plaistow, NH: Joyce E. (Howe) (Lord) Wright, 78, of Plaistow died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born, raised, and educated in Rumford, ME daughter of the late John and Estella "Stella" (Goddard) Howe, she graduated from Stephens High School with the Class of 1953.

Mrs. Wright worked as an Accounts Recievable Manager for Coca-Cola Company at their bottling plants in Plaistow, Salem, NH, and Bedford, NH and was a resident of the town of Plaistow for over sixty years where she was a past member of the Zoning Board and Budget Committee.

A long time member of the First Baptist Church of Plaistow, Mrs. Wright was active as a member and past chair of the Finance Committee, Property Committee, and Hospitality Committee. She was also a member of the Ladies' Social Circle and the Tri-Angle Guild of the church. A member of the Trinity Temple of the Pythian Sisters she was the past Most Excellent Chief of the Temple, the past Grand Chief of the State of NH, and past Supreme Chief of the United States and Canada.

An avid reader, Mrs. Wright enjoyed sewing, crafts, and cooking.

She is survived by her husband of forty years, Edwin H. Wright, Jr., a son Timothy C. Wright and his wife Dolly of Lancaster, CA, a daughter, Dr. Erinn H. Wright, MD and her husband David of Bridgton, ME, three grandchildren, Gregory Wright, Shauna Wright, and Joshua Wright, and a sister, Dorothy Cushman of Bryant Pond, ME. She was predeceased by her brother, John R. Howe.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Monday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Plaistow. Burial will take place in Rumford, ME at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 122 Main Street, Plaistow, NH 03865, or the American Cancer Society.
