Joyce "Joy" Darlene Gardner, was born on December 3, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of George and Helen Dottini and had an identical twin, Janet Duncan, who passed before her and was her guardian angel. Joy was married to Jerry (her Hero) Gardner for 56 wonderful years. She is survived by her husband Jerry, daughter Michelle, and two grand-daughters, Lauren and Nicole. She is the most loving, special and courageous Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend most have ever known. Her love of family and her garden was unwavering. Joy called San Dimas, California home, where she and Jerry built a beautiful life for their family. She was reunited with her guardian angels on March 25, 2015 at the age of 76, and will be greatly missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.
