Jovita Almira Talampas

Jovita Almira Talampas, affectionately known as Munte or Mama Jovie to her grandkids, was born on October 10, 1950, in Santa Rosa Laguna, Philippines. She passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, in Laguna, Philippines, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the hearts of many.

She emigrated to Guam with her children under her husband’s petition to Guam, USA and resided in the city of Tamuning from 1995 to 2000. Her and her family then relocated to Barstow CA from 2000-2004 and permanently reside in Victorville CA from 2004 to present. 

She leaves behind a loving husband, Francisco Talampas and 4 children: Jocelyn Talampas, Joanne Lizaso, Jofrelyn Magalong, and Franklin Talampas. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Julianne Lizaso, Nikayla Magalong, Jaelan Magalong, and Lanamae Magalong.

As we remember Jovita Almira Talampas, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by her unwavering strength and her ability to spread joy. She will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to live on through the memories created and the lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
