Josue E. Rodriguez, 64, born on March 30, 1953, in Mexico City, Mexico, passed away March 13, 2018. He resided in West Covina, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.

He is also survived by his five siblings, Martha Resendiz, Tony Rodriguez, Roberto Eliseo Rodriguez, Laura Patricia Rodriguez, and Joel Rodriguez.

He served the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully and was pastor of a local church Ministerios Cristo Vive in La Puente, CA. He was a strong, fearless, and loving husband and father. He volunteered many years of his life to serving by preaching the word, doing missionary work, helping the needy and sharing the word of God.

He was blessed to have received three transplants at Cedar Sinai Medical Center where he passed due to multiple complications. He would not like to be mourned but celebrated for the many achievements he was able to make for the glory of God. No tears! Only celebrations for he was able to be used as a vessel for the Lord and many lives were brought to Christ during his wonderful life.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

John 14:1-2 "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

Romans 8:18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Peter 1:3-5 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

Revelation 2:10 Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.

Revelation 14:13 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!"

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."
