Joseph A. Harrington

East Hampstead, NH: Joseph A. Harrington, III, 77, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, following a long illness and surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Methuen, MA, son of the late Joseph A. II and Elizabeth (Cronin) Harrington he attended Methuen Public Schools and graduated from the former Haverhill Trade School.

A licensed Master Plumber in New Hampshire and Maine, Mr. Harrington was the President and Treasurer of Lindsay Echo Water Conditioning Co., Inc., a business he established and has operated in Hampstead since 1966.

A member of the Kingston Veterans Club, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Barbara (Franzi) Harrington, two daughters, Gail L. Coish of Hampton Falls, NH, and Lynn E. Harrington of Red Way California, three grandchildren, Trevor Coish, Sydney Coish and Bailey Coish.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday April 27, 2014 from 12 to 3 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will take place on Monday at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead.
