Josefina Josie Nungaray

Josefina (Josie) Nungaray lived in La Mirada and entered eternity on November 16th, 2022

Josie was born June 17th, 1974 to Aurelia and Concepcion in Whittier Hospital. Josie was the first to be born in USA from mom's side of extended relatives
Josie graduated from California High School in 1992.
Josie went on to graduate USC in 1996. She became an Occupational Therapist to help care for her mom's rare illness, Huntington's Disease. Only to find herself with the same diagnosis about 17 years later.

Josie married Felipe Fajardo in 1999 and went on to have two daughters Amanda and Yvonne and son Jr.

Josie loved Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior she boldly shared her faith. She was very intelligent, confident, and outspoken. Also was warm, loving, compassionate, generous and so funny. She was a peacemaker and had the best laugh. She also loved to travel and loved to eat.

Josie predeceased by her mom Aurelia. She is survived by her husband Felipe three kids Amanda, Yvonne, and Jr. Her father Concepcion siblings Juanita, Jose, Javier, Irma, and Irene. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, brother-laws, nieces, and nephews.
