Josefa is the eldest of seven siblings: Amada Cunanan (deceased), Pacita Domingo (deceased), Remedios Dungca (deceased), Potenciana Mitchel (deceased), Lourdes Santos (residing in Manila), Jose Francisco (residing in Cavite). She retired as a bookkeeper from the law firm Harrington, Foxx, Dubbow & Canter in Los Angeles in June 1990. She was widely traveled, whether alone or in the company of friends.
She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, warmth and generosity.
