Jose Ramos Solano

Jose Ramos Solano ("Pepe"), 80, born on May 6, 1941, in Durango, Mexico, passed away from respiratory failure at his home on April 21, 2022. He resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing. He is survived by his three children and three grandchildren. He was married for 52 years to our caring and loving mom until her passing in 2018. He was the rock of the family— always a provider and problem solver. He had a witty sense of humor and a creative spark. A jack of all trades, he was in his element when working around the house—he had a self-taught talent for carpentry, ironwork, painting, masonry (just to name a few) and could always be found working on projects. His zest for life dimmed when our mom passed away and his disease no longer allowed him to do the things he enjoyed. We take comfort knowing that he is now free from all suffering. His memory will live on in our hearts. He will be sorely missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
