Jose Rizal Rambac Ramoran

Jose Rizal Rambac Ramoran, of Palm Springs, Calif. passed away March 30, 2017 in Palm Springs. He was born on August 23, 1926, to Aquilino and Pilar Ramoran in Ilocos Norte, Vintar, Philippines. He married Flordelina Garcia on February 14, 1955 in Ilocos Norte Vintar, Philippines. He was a dishwasher and kitchen helper at Lyon's English Grille and Karla's Restaurant, owned by his son Retante Ramoran and nephew Rudy Butac, for over 30 years. He was a loved dad (aka DIDI), grandfather, and great-grand father who will be well missed. May he rest in peace and reunite with his beloved wife mama Flordelina Ramoran. He is survived by his daughter; Mely Hughes of Indian Wells, Calif.; sons, Retante Ramoran of Beaumont, Calif. and Joseph Ramoran of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Socimo Ramoran of Palm Springs, Calif.; grandchildren, Tante Rey Ramoran, Tiffany Wallmark, Trent Hughes, and Isabella Ramoran; great-grand children, Caleb Ramoran and Kai Wallmark. He is preceded in death by his wife, Flordelina Garcia on July 29, 2016. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017 with a Rosary at 5:30 pm at Forest Lawn Cathedral City. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Palm Springs. Interment will follow at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City. Celebration of Life lunch at Hibachi City Buffet in Palm Desert, Calif. The family suggests that donations be made to St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 2900 Ramon Road, Palm Springs Ca 92264.
