Jose Ramirez Panday, 85, was born in the Philippines on January 19, 1935, by his parents Juan Belleza Panday and Socorro Ramirez Panday. He passed away on February 10, 2020, and resided in Lakewood, CA at the time of his passing.


Jose Ramirez Panday served as a judge on the Municipal Trial Court and Regional Trial Court of the Philippines for over thirty years, under Branch 27 in Naga City.


Above all, Jose was a loving husband to his wife, Vilma Panday, and hardworking father to their five children: Olivia (Livie) Panday, Maria (Joji) Mascarinas, Alex Panday, Philipp (Bombie) Panday, and Valentina (Bing) Manalo. Jose was also a beloved brother to Orlando R. Panday (dec.), Pedro R. Panday (dec.), Augusto R. Panday, Juan R. Panday Jr. (dec.), and Emilia R. Panday.


Jose Ramirez Panday immigrated and retired to Southern California in 2000, and is loved and adored by all his grandchildren: Erin Mascarinas, Alexis Mascarinas, Arielle Mascarinas, Mika Panday, Marie Panday, Oliver Panday, Coleen Panday, Clarice Panday, Caitlyn Panday, Casey Panday, Emil Manalo, and Mia Manalo. Jose was a loyal cousin, uncle, and friend to many.


Among many reasons, he will be missed for his self-sacrificing character, unwavering generosity, amiable and charming personality, and charismatic smile that lights up any room.
