He is survived by his wife Evangelina Vazquez Ortiz, their children Rosina, Adriana, Joseph, Elizabeth and Carlos Ortiz. Proud Grandfather to Michael, Edward, Andrew, Emma, Robert, Lauren, Silvia, Destiny, Eddie, KerryAna, Carlos Jr. (CJ). Great-Grandfather to Jiselle, Danielle and Anthony. Father-in-Law to Pedro, Lisa, Felipe and Rosie. Jose Manuel Ortiz (Chemel) will be devotedly remembered by his family and friends as a loving spouse, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and a great provider to his family. Rest in Peace Daddy. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
