Jose Garcia Delamora

March 14, 1944 — December 17, 2020

Jose Garcia Delamora, 76, born on March 14 1944 in Ixtlahuacan Del Rio, Mexico. He passed away on December 17, 2020. He resided in Fontana at the time of his passing. He won his battle with "old timers" disease (as he would say) and heart disease (it was too big). He passed away quietly at home surrounded by his loved ones. His beautiful wife Maria C. Garcia preceded dad in death. Being the oldest brother, he leaves behind 9 brothers and sisters as well as his 2 daughters Vanessa G. Moreno and Melissa Almaguer. He also leaves behind 6 grand children, and 6 great grand children, they were his greatest loves. He joined the Air Force in 1963 as an air policeman; after leaving the Armed Forces he went to work for Southern Pacific railroad, where he retired after many years. He then dedicated his time teaching Catechism and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Catholic church in Fontana. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, and an imprint of his faith in the hearts of those that knew him. He was always giving of himself what he could and will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
