Refugio “Cuco” Armas Munoz

Refugio "Cuco" Armas, a beloved father and proud U.S. citizen, passed away peacefully on August 26,2024, in Palm Springs, California, at the age of 80. Born on January 23, 1944, in Zacatecas, Mexico, Refugio embodied the spirit of hard work and resilience throughout his life.

Refugio was a man of many talents, renowned for his cooking, particularly his skill in making delicious flour tortillas that brought warmth and joy to his family gatherings. Beyond his culinary prowess, he took great pleasure in cleaning and ensuring that his home was a comfortable haven for his loved ones. His respectful demeanor and unwavering dedication were a source of inspiration to all who knew him.

He is survived by his cherished children: Rosa, Silvia, Sergio, Edgar, Cesar, Bianca, and Alberto, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and devotion. Refugio is also remembered by his parents, Mauricio Armas and Vicenta Munoz, who preceded him in death.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Refugio's life at the Funeral Services, which will be held at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church of our Heritage in Covina, California. The services will take place on September 9, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM, followed by an additional service on September 10, 2024, at 9:30 AM.
