It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Jordan Rashed, who tragically lost his life on May 26, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, after being struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle. His sudden and heartbreaking passing has left an immeasurable void in our lives and in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Jordan was a remarkable young man whose intelligence, determination, and kind heart touched everyone around him. He earned an associate degree in Cybersecurity and was diligently working toward his bachelor's degree, with plans to graduate in January 2027. His passion for technology was evident in both his studies and his work. Jordan was proud to be serving as an IT intern at Harvard-Westlake School, where he was building a promising future doing what he loved.
Beyond his academic and professional accomplishments, Jordan was known for his gentle nature, quiet strength, and genuine kindness. He was the definition of a true gentleman—respectful, thoughtful, and caring toward everyone he met. Jordan enjoyed gaming, building computers, and exploring new technology, but one of his greatest passions was riding his motorcycle and experiencing the sense of freedom it brought him.
Jordan is lovingly remembered by his mother, Katleen Leblanc; his father, Charlie Rashed; and his sister, Katrina Leblanc. He was a deeply loved son, brother, family member, and friend whose presence brought warmth, comfort, and joy to those around him. Jordan will be forever cherished for his kind heart, bright mind, gentle spirit, and the love he shared so freely with others.
Jordan leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, perseverance, and unforgettable memories. Though his life was cut tragically short, the impact he made on those who knew him will endure forever. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
A service to honor and celebrate Jordan's life will be held on June 8, 2026, at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills – Church of the Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, California 90068. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4:30 p.m.
