Jonathan Edward Carter

Jonathan Edward Carter, 26, born on August 1, 1991, in Loma Linda, California, passed away April 19, 2018. He resided in Covina, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.

Jonathan always loved adventure, mischief, and a good laugh. As a child he enjoyed teasing the family pets as well as his sister, crafted home-made bow and arrow sets and potato launchers, climbed trees, scrambled up boulders at Joshua Tree National Park, and watched his favorite movie scenes over and over again. Family members and babysitters were the unexpected recipients of countless rubber bands and stomp rockets. Jonathan attended Charter Oak High School, where he took up swimming and water polo. He went on to graduate from Cal Poly Pomona in 2015, picking up other hobbies like Jiu Jitsu and snowboarding along the way. He will always be remembered for his big heart and smile. He is survived by his mother Connie (Richard Keller), father Dr. Craig Carter, sister Christine (Caleb Maccarone), girlfriend Brianna Garcia, grandmother Lorraine Carter, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved dog, Boomer.

The family of Jonathan Carter would like to thank you very much for the cards, flowers, and kind expressions of sympathy shown following his passing. Your support at this difficult time has been very much appreciated and of great comfort to all of the family.
