Johnson Chen

It is with profound sorrow and heartbreak that we inform all family and friends:Our beloved son, Johnson, passed away tragically on April 21, 2025, at the age of 22.

From a young age, Johnson harbored a steadfast dream of serving in the military. With unwavering determination and exemplary character, he earned the distinguished title of Eagle Scout in the United States and went on to become a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was proudly selected to join one of the nation’s elite units—the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team. His courage and sense of duty brought immense pride and honor to our family.

Throughout his life, even when met with stern discipline or criticism, he never once spoke back. He was a gentle, mature, and responsible young man, full of positivity and drive. Though his time with us was far too short, his journey was marked by strength, purpose, and dignity. Through his youth and service, he embodied what it means to be a true man. His passing is a devastating loss to our family, one that words cannot fully express.

He is survived by his loving mother, Yujuan Jin, his father, Yuxin Chen ,and his devoted brother, Jeffrey Chen.

Please join at Patriots Chapel Forest Lawn Cypress on Monday May 19th at 9:00AM to celebrate Johnson's life and his internment at Mirarmar National Cementary the same day at 1:15PM.
