Johnny Marquez was born on May 21, 1945, in Bakersfield, Ca. and passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026, in Buena Park.
Johnny, affectionately known as “Harpo,” was truly the life of the party. His laughter, humor, and vibrant spirit brought joy to every gathering. He had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, and his presence will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lila; his 11 children; 33 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings; 6 sons-in-laws; and 1 daughter-in-law. His legacy lives on through the beautiful, large family he cherished so deeply.
Johnny will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love he gave so freely.
