John William Timpte

Mr. John William Timpte, 83, born on September 14, 1929, in Minneapolis, MN, passed away January 2, 2013. He resided in Palm Desert, CA at the time of his passing. Survived by his wife Beverly, three daughters; Karen, Jane, Barbara, six grandchildren, three step children Brenda, David, Richard, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
John spent his professional career as an accomplished electrical engineer/contractor/developer, with projects around the globe. Those that knew him, knew of his great pride in the work he accomplished, and enjoyed his wonderful tales.
But at home, John was a gentle giant, and doted on his morky, Muffy and wife Beverly. With his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was kind, gentle, and always pushing them to follow their dreams and reach their aspirations. For fun, John enjoyed a round or two of golf, or fixing things for friends and neighbors. He will be missed and cherished, always.
