John Allen Thaemert age 73, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024 at Eisenhower Medical Center. He was born on March 9, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to the parents of Anna Mae Anderson and Allen Frederick Thaemert. He lived in Cathedral City, Ca. for the past 9 years previous to that he resided in Reseda, Ca. He is survived by his wife Janice of 48 years, his 3 children Jenniffer, James , and Justin, his 10 grandchildren, and his sister Kathleen. He was a truck driver for 43 years. He drove both long haul and short delivery driving. Driving was a passion for him. It didn't matter if it was a truck, car, or bike, if it moved he would be behind the wheel. He loved his family, driving, and riding his Harleys. He always supported his children with all the activities they were in. His daughter with riding quad runners, swimming competitions, riding show horses, and barrel racing. He never missed a single football game for both of his sons. You could look up in the stands and find him cheering his boys on next to Janice. He was a very proud and devoted father. He never missed a single moment of our lives unless he had to work. His services will be held April 5, 2024 at 1:30pm at Desert Memorial Park 31-705 Da Vall Dr. Cathedral City, Ca. 92234.
