John Stefanelli

John Stefanelli, 26, born on May 20, 1997, in Palm Springs, CA, United States, passed away November 17, 2023. He resided in Palm Springs, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.

John graduated from Xavier Preparatory High School where he was on the Honor Roll and received the prestigious "Loving and Compassionate Award".  John never had an unkind thing to say about anyone and instantly forgave any who might have harmed him.  He was a member of the Drama Club performing in several school plays.  He loved music of all kinds and he enjoyed playing the piano and singing.  After graduation he attended the College of the Desert obtaining his Associate of Arts - Math and Science Degree.  He planned to complete his Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus.  He loved animals and had a close, loving relationship with his family and friends.  

John's funeral Mass will be held at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palm Springs, California where he served as a lector.  The service will be on December 9, 2023 at 9:45 A.M.  John's ashes will be interred with his paternal grandparents at the family's lakefront property at Christina Lake, British Columbia, a place he loved dearly.
