John Stewart Morgan was born March 20, 1945 in Sydney, Australia to father Edward and mother Jocelyn. Stewart was an accomplished golfer and mortgage broker and was known endearingly as Coach Stu by girls at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park and Notre Dame high school. He was a beloved husband, father of three and grandfather of four. For 13 years Stewart fought cancer, enduring 7 clinical trials in his quest to defeat this disease. On November 8th, 2018, in his home of 39 years, surrounded by his family and closest friends, Stewart said his final goodbyes as he made his journey up the stairway to Heaven. In lieu of flowers or care packages, Stewart's family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 20th at 12pm located at First Christian Church of North Hollywood.
