John Kennedy

Aug 23, 1969 — Jul 28, 2026

John Thomas Kennedy cruised into his final sunset on July 28, 2026. Born on August 23, 1969, in Miami, Florida, to John and Virginia Kennedy, John lived every day with intense passion and purpose.

In 1996, John met his soulmate, Aniela and they married in 2006, building a beautiful 30-year adventure filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Of all his accomplishments, John was proudest of his two children, Stefan and Sasha. John was Lowrider and Classic Car royalty. During the John's Exports days, he poured his creative genius into "The Southside Player"—his 1964 Impala Convertible that earned the 2000 Lowrider of the Year award and inspired builders worldwide. He later opened Bowtie Connection, a legendary restoration shop where he turned automotive dreams into reality daily. Beyond his legendary cars, John was a powerhouse of wisdom, a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving son, an amazing Uncle, Godfather, and a fiercely loyal friend. He had the most loving, generous and forgiving heart, always ready to lift up his family and community. He was the ultimate storyteller, so full of life, and laughter

He is survived by his loving wife Aniela, children Stefan and Sasha, loving parents John and Virginia Kennedy; Aunts Helen Jensen and Christine Stasik, Brother and Sister-in law Bogie and Lisa, niece Avery, Sister-in-law Marcela, niece Brooklyn, and his beloved furry companions. John is also survived by a large loving community of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Samuel and Lorene Kennedy, Grandparents Steve and Virginia Pavlik, In-Laws Stefan and Yolanda Stankiewicz, and Godson Vincent Zuniga.

"The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support during this time. John’s laughter and impact will be celebrated forever.”
