John Duval

John Duval passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, from cancer.  John was born on November 30, 1957, to Don and Joan Duval.  John lived in Fontana, CA for the last 21 years.  He grew up in Sparks Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, and came to California when he was about 19 years old.  John was a man of faith and integrity, and he was dedicated to his wife, Colleen, and their sons, Ryan Duval, and Eric Duval, who passed away June 19^th, 2022.   John has three sisters, Shelly Brennan, and her husband Bob from McHenry Maryland, Susie Church, and her husband Brian from Ponce Inlet, Florida, Shari Giannino, and her husband Frank from Phoenix, Maryland.  John also has one brother, Tom Duval, and his wife Jeanette from El Paso, Texas. John loved his family dearly. 

John was a member of the Inland Empire Barbershop Chorus.  John loved singing with several of the quartets from the chorus.  John also loved being one of the song leaders at church.  John served as an elder at the Inland Valley Church of Christ.  John also worked part-time at the church office.  John also coordinated classes at church for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.  He was a big fan of Dave Ramsey. 

John previously worked 39 years for Janney & Janney attorney service as a Court Representative.  John had a strong work ethic and rarely ever missed work.  John will truly be missed by his loving family and friends.
