John P. Dill

Haverhill: John P. Dill, 55 a resident of Haverhill, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Haverhill, son of Shirley (Fontaine) Dill and the late John Dill, he attended local schools and was a member of the Whittier Vo-Tech Class of 1978.

John worked for most of his career in auto body repair and owned and operated Done-Rite Auto Body of Rowley for many years.

A member of All Saints Parish and a former C.C.D teacher, he enjoyed watching movies and was an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his don U.S. Marine Sgt. John Paul Dill, Jr, of San Diego, CA, daughters, Kristine Dill of Charleston, SC, Samantha Dill of Haverhill, and Shelby Dill of Haverhill, his mother Shirley (Fontaine) Dill of Haverhill, brothers, James Dill and his wife Janice and David Dill and his fiancé Heather, Emery, all of Haverhill, sisters, Patricia Wentworth and her husband Robert of Freedom, NH and Judy Call and her husband John, of Haverhill, his significant other Anne Flanagan and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held on Monday evening at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. The family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
