John Lim Dagsaan

John Lim Dagsaan was 52 years old and resided in Lakewood, California when he passed away on November 26, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1972 in Long Beach, California. He spent most of his growing years in Carson, California. 

John earned his first Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of La Verne. He later earned his second Bachelor’s degree in IT at the University of Phoenix. Throughout his IT career, his former employers included Multiquip, Diamond Mattress, Tideworks, and Fry Reglet.

John married Grace in 2007 and was a loving husband to her for 17 plus years. He was a doting father to James and Avan. John was a kind soul who cared for others. He found joy in both his family and his job. 

When ALS began to take over his body, he slowly became weaker. Because he didn't want everyone to worry about him, he didn't tell everyone about his state of health and kept it to himself for some time. He also needed that time and personal space to accept and deal with his illness. John truly loved and appreciated all those who took the time to express their love and support for him. 

He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace; their children, James, Avan and Phoebe, their grandson, Noah; his father, Junieto, his mother Corazon, his sisters Cindy and Joan, and numerous loved ones.

Viewing will take place on December 20, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Cypress Room. Funeral Service will be on December 21, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. at the Patriots Chapel. All services will take place at Forest Lawn, Cypress.
