John Cyr Cullen

John Cyr Cullen, of Palm Desert, California, passed away on August 24, 2018 of heart failure at home. He was born on January 15, 1942, to Vincent Cullen and Elizabeth Cyr in Los Angeles, Calif. He married Rebecca Grant on October 15, 1966 in Beverly Hills, Calif. He was a materials manager with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. He was a member of Indio Elks, past President of Indio Sunrise Rotary, and a 4th Degree Knight. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Cullen of Palm Desert, Calif.; his son, Roger Scott Cullen of La Quinta, Calif.; his sister, Andrea McDonough of Reno, Nevada; his twin brother, Michael Cyr Cullen of Redondo Beach, Calif.; his nephews, Michael Vincent Cullen of San Diego, Calif. and Robert Arthur Cullen of La Quinta, Calif.; his great-niece, Michelle Cullen; and his great-nephews, Chadwick Cullen and Michael Cyr Cullen II of San Diego, Calif., Erik Cullen and Jack Cullen of La Quinta, Calif., and Kevin Ivey of Burbank, Calif. Services will be held at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City as follows. A visitation on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 9:00am with interment to follow. The family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
