John Cuellar

John “ El Lingo” Frank Cuellar 86, went to be with our Lord on January 15, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1937 to Juan Manuel and Mary B. (Barrientos) Cuellar in Pomona California. John was preceded in death by his jr high sweetheart, (he was 14, she was 13) and beloved wife Mary Alice who passed in February of 2018.  On July 1, 1961, they got married and had 4 kids. Diana (Jaime) DeSantiago, Linda Cuellar (Daniel Marquez) Julia (Ray) Yanez, and Greg Cuellar. They were blessed to have 11 Grandkids, and 12 Great Grandkids. John was an upholster, then a carpet layer, later getting his flooring contractor license, which he loved doing for over 40 years. John “El Lingo” loved to dance all the time, and his Mom had a Spanish record that had those words in it, that she would play over and over for him to dance to. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. A viewing will be held on Friday February 23, 2024 from 5-9 in the tribute center of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills. And a celebration of life on February 24, 2024 ( His Beloved Wife’s Birthday) in Church of our Heritage in Forest Lawn, Covina Hills at 9:30, with burial to follow.
