John F. Budd

John Budd, 77, of Rancho Mirage, CA passed away on Monday, September 28th, 2015. John was surrounded by his family when he lost his eight month battle with cancer.

Born on January 12, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, John was the youngest of five children to John and Sophie Budd (nee Groboski). John attended Fenger High Schooll in Roseland, on the South side of Chicago. John attended Thornton Junior College in Harvey, IL and went on to receive his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in 1962.

John enjoyed a long career in the medical supply industry. Over the years John held various positions for Johnson & Johnson, and Pharmaseal. In 1993, John retired from Baxter International as Vice President.

John and his wife relocated from Northridge, CA to the the Palm Springs area over twenty years ago, eventually settling in Rancho Mirage, CA. He enjoyed his time on the golf course as a member of Mission Hills Country Club. It was there where John earned himself a few holes-in-one. In addition to golf, John loved tennis, traveling, and watching his home state's sports teams.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gayle Budd and his four children, Randy Budd, Lisa Wire, Anissa Fiore, and Robert Romero. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, one great grandchild and his loving canine companion, Eddie, who was always by his side.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA with a private reception immediately following.
