Joe D. Hernandez

Mr. Joe D. Hernandez was born on November 12, 1947 to Augustin and Maria Estephana Hernandez. Joe passed away on September 30, 2015, he was a resident of Indio, California at the time of his passing. Joe was the eldest of his siblings which include four (4) brothers; Juan, Mario, Augustin and Daniel Hernandez and eight (8) sisters; Irene Rodriguez, Angie Garcia, Petra Luna, Lupe Garza, Elva Ramirez, Mary Ramirez, Irma Zarate and Caroline Hernandez.

He is survived by his six (6) children Oralia and Elvira Hernandez of Indio, Mary Ann Hernandez of La Quinta, Alicia Moore of Moreno Valley, Joe Jr. and Augustine Hernandez of Cathedral City. Joe is also survived by nine (9) grandchildren and one (1) great grandchild.

Joe was much loved by his family, and will be remembered driving around in his blue 1970 Dodge d100 truck. our father Joe enjoyed sparking up conversations with those around him or whom he encountered. He was always willing to help others. Mechanic by trade, he also enjoyed being active by gardening .

We will miss him dearly, a father, brother and grandfather, we will miss his laughter, jokes and forever hold him close to our hearts.

Visitation held, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Coachella Chapel, Coachella, California; Catholic Mass held, Wednesday, October, 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church, Coachella, California. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Coachella.
