Joanne Proctor Comotto, 78, born on November 12, 1945, passed away July 27, 2024. She was a very strong woman, mother to 4 amazing children, Jake, Julie, Jane, and Jennifer. She was a grandma to 7 amazing grandchildren, Dennis Jr, Cynthia, Elijah, Steven, Breanna, Carl and Ricky. She was a great grandma to 3 girls, Ashlee, Jasmine and Mary Jane. She was a sister to one sibling, Mary Jane. She was the wife of her first husband, Jake, and her second husband Frank. She was a daughter to Tom and Emma Spates. She was dedicated to her family, and would do anything for any of them. She was always ready for a party, and always participated in our antics. She absolutely loved her cat Baby, who she can now spend eternity with. Joanne will be sorely missed. We have a hole in our hearts that will never again be filled. We will miss you mom so much!
She resided in Mission Viejo, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.
