Joanne Sue Clark

Joanne Sue Clark, 74, born on December 5, 1947, in Los Angeles, CA, United States, passed away November 7, 2022. She resided in Oceanside, CA, at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
Joanne was a California girl, born to Marion and Catherine Clark in Los Angeles, California. She came as a set with her twin sister, Jennifer, joining her brother, John, and later her sister, Marianne, to become a family of six.
Joanne attended schools in Los Angeles, Camarillo, and Anaheim, graduating from Savanna High School in 1966. She continued her education becoming a registered nurse, graduating from Hollywood Presbyterian School of Nursing, RN; University of San Diego, B.S.N; and UCLA, M.A. in Nursing.
She joined the US Navy Nurse Corps in 1973, achieving the rank of Commander with 22 years of honorable service, retiring in 1994. She worked as a professional nurse for Johnson & Johnson, a school nurse for San Diego County Schools, and cared for her parents and brother, tending them until their passing.
Joanne had a servant's heart, still a child of God, and a "caretaker of the earth." She liked gardening, playing the piano, baking, but most of all, she loved Jesus and her family!
She dedicated herself to serving Christ and others. She will be sorely missed by her sisters, Jennifer and Marianne; her sister-in-law, Rosanne; brothers-in-law, David and Dale; a niece, Courtney; nephews, John J., Jeremy, Joel, and Evan; the "greats"--Cole, Ellie, and Lola; and many dear friends!
