Joan M. Maguire

Plaistow, NH:  Joan M. (Brown) Maguire, 81, of Plaistow, NH and formerly of Georgia, Florida and Groveland, MA, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.

Born in Melrose, MA, the daughter of Roy C. and Jeanne (Fenton) Brown, she was raised in Canada where she attended local schools and Home Economics College.  She later relocated to Groveland, MA, where she worked for J. M. Fields Department Store as a Supervisor of Service, for Semiconductor Circuits as an Assembler and at the Groveland Diner.

Mrs. Maguire was a member of the Groveland Garden Club and she enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, crafts and reading.

The widow of the late Willard H. Maguire who died in 1984, she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey I. Maguire and his fianc, Brenda of Dumfries, VA and Scott A. Maguire and his wife, Janice of Benton, PA; two daughters,  Andrea Morgan of Haverhill, MA and Tracy M. Meola and her husband, Victor of Plaistow; a brother, William Brown of Sussex, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Ensign Spencer Maguire, U.S. Navy, Eric Morgan and his wife, Sarah, Brooke Schena and her husband, Jarod, Brian Morgan, and Alex Meola and his fianc Nina; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Danja Maguire and a son-in-law, Ernest Morgan.
