Joan Mary Leff, 85, of Rancho Mirage, Calif., passed away May 26, 2013 in Rancho Mirage. She was born February 11, 1928 to William and Margaret Cooper in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She married Raymond Leff on June 13, 1964 in Pasadena, Calif. She was a teacher for 43 years. She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Gardner of Rancho Mirage and Sheila Ruble of Palm Springs, Calif.; and brother, William Cooper of Beaumont, Calif. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Raymond Leff. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Louis Catholic Church, 68633 C Street, Cathedral City, Calif. Reception to follow.
