Jimmie Griner, was born in Odin, IL on June 7, 1928 and passed away on January 27, 2016 in Mission Viejo, CA. He was the son of Ray and Trucy Griner of Centralia, IL. Jim graduated from Centralia Township High School and after military service, graduated from Bradley University. He was affiliated with Delta Upsilon fraternity. He went to work for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria, IL where he worked for 44 years before retiring to Palm Desert, CA. Jim was a 50-year mason and an active Shriner. He served as Potentate of Mohammed Shrine in Peoria, IL and president of Desert Jesters as a member of Court 40 of the Royal Order of the Jesters.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores, and his daughters Carolyn Hoyer and Vicki Matijevich. He had 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Jim will be interred at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, CA. where a private life celebration will take place.
