Jesse R. Evans Jr  was born on March 08, 1956, in Cavite, Philippines. He spent his early life in the Philippines and travelled overseas but the United States was his permanent residence of choice. He is a veteran as he had joined the US Navy. Honorably discharged, fate brought him back to the Philippines where he then met his wife - Evelyn DeDios. In time, he became a beloved father to two children, his daughter Jelyn R. Evans and son Jaie R. Evans.

He has lived in the US since 1994 and became a wonderful fixture to the Long Beach INC locale chapter. Remembered as a joking and jovial soul, he offered car rides and jokes to family and friends alike. His golden heart was present in his kindness. He became a grandfather to Mikhael J. Evans in 2022 and doted on him but sadly, his time was shortened due to progressive Alzheimer's disease. 

He passed away February 27, 2026 in his home under hospice care. His last few weeks were presided over by his family. Surrounded by his loved ones, he went peacefully in his home. No more pain, no more tears. He will forever be loved by his surviving family.
